Since the "agent assisted FSBO" method they espouse is still relatively new for NYC home owners, we want to ask you, our readers, on your experience with Hauseit.
If you're deciding whether or not to sell FSBO ("for sale by owner") in NYC this Summer than you've no doubt heard about Hauseit, the biggest NYC specific FSBO company (if you haven't, see one of the ubiquitous tutorial videos below). Since the "agent assisted FSBO" method they espouse is still relatively new for NYC home owners, we want to ask you, our readers, on your experience with Hauseit.

We found our buyer agent through Hauseit to buy our condo in NYC.

Hauseit was very helpful in introducing me to a REBNY broker who listed my home and also gave me a lot of helpful advice. As an unexpected bonus, the broker also got my home mentioned in a local newspaper about interesting upcoming open houses. I would highly recommend Hauseit to anyone who wants to save the broker commission in NYC

I am pleased with the Hauseit team and the service. I tried the FSBO option (with the intention of using their full service option if showing becomes too much work for me). It worked! My listing is in contract and I will be saving close to 3% commission. They are very responsive and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend their service (and I will probably go with the full service option next time).

Our family has used Hauseit twice to list in NYC as we all moved to Miami from 2020-2021. Because the for sale market wasn't optimal when we tried to sell, we ultimately ended up finding tenants instead. However, Hauseit held up its end of the bargain. Their photographer Elisa and the post-production team did an excellent job with photos, floor plans and 3D tours. The listing was professionally marketed, and their call centers and algorithms seamlessly passed on any inquiries related to our listing. If you're willing to roll up your sleeves and do some work showing your own home, then you can save on the entire broker commission if you find a direct buyer, or only pay the buyer agent commission if the buyer has an agent. Kind of a no brainer if you ask me.
